SSO to Salesforce via Intranet Login

Hello All,

Does anyone have any experience implementing delegated authentication SSO where the user logs into their company Intranet, which authenticates them to access their Salesforce.com org without any further login? Is this possible?

Yes you can do this with SAML federated authentication. The only restirction is they would need to access salesforce via a link on the Intranet (not via login.salesforce.com).  See https://na6.salesforce.com/help/doc/en/sso_tips.htm for more information.
