From "Help" on salesforce.com: When putting leads in a queue, the notes, attachments, and open activities are not transferred.
Why? It doesn't make sense. I have people leaving my company and we are not ready to reassign to a new sales exec but we want to change lead owner to "Marketing Queue" in the interem. I don't want to lose notes, attachements, etc.
Does anyone know a work around?

I believe this means that the ownership of the notes, attachments, etc is not transferred to the queue. The notes and open actitivites will still be visible on the record, they will just be "owned" by the previous owner.

Thank you for your repsonse. I did figure that out when I finally just took a chance and transfered a lead to a queue. Makes complete sense now. ![]()
