Would love some opinions on this training app that integrates with Salesforce.com

Hello everyone

I'm trying to get some feedback on the viability of this application.  It is a little off the beaten path compared to the normal apps I see on the appExchange.  We are trying to categorize it in a way that will make sense to Salesforce.com users.  It is a training app that is built in Moodle, which is an open source learning management system.  Right there is where it starts to get a little confusing as most Salesforce users tend to think of things in terms of sales and marketing and learning managment tends to be an HR function.  So, having an LMS that integrates with Salesforce seems confusing to some.  However, the open source nature of the app makes it a very affordable option for delivering training to customers or partners and we have found that it even helps organizations generate leads.  Essentially it is a web based system that is SCORM compliant, acts as a content management platform and easily delivers training content to users through a simple web connection and browser.  We can use Salesforce as a way to authenticate users into the system and even set account or contact level triggers that restrict or grant access to specific training libraries.  After students are registered to the system and begin taking courseware, our system synchronizes student completion records back in Salesforce.com where you can use report filters to generate any number of custom reports.  We see this app as an ideal way to manage certification or compliance programs, a way to restrict access to content for customers or partners only (restrict access to competitors), or, using the ecommerce plugins, a way to manage revenue for organizations that monetize their training programs.  I'm interested in hearing what others think of this idea.  How would you describe it or in other words, what terms would you use to search if you were looking for this type of functionality?  Any feedback would be appreciated.

We have created some youtube videos that highlight some of the key functionality if you would like to get a visual on what I am describing.
