Territory Management - Reassigning Opportunity

I should say *any* territory. User sits only in one territory (in this case).

To be specific he can assign to all his sibling territories.

May be i shouldnt be tampering the Territory Id field in Opportunity. I think Salesforce uses it for calculating or generating Opportunity Forecast.
Any ideas ?
