Hello all:
We recently implemented sales force for our organization. We have a very simple manufacturing and sales business model where we sell directly to retailers and distributors - that then sell our products to consumers. Our sales team is therefore tasked with finding new retailers (customers) and taking product orders that add up to their annual goals.
Like all sales our managers are building relationships with our retailers and therefore most of the tools in Salesforce are very beneficial for tracking and learning more about accounts and contacts. However the one missing piece is sales/order history. We would like to be able to track individual orders from our customers and link them to the account tab - enabling reporting and tracking towards our annual sales goals.
I'm hoping that someone out there has done this either by using a particular plug in - or by modifying the function of the opportunities in salesforce. Any help you can provide would be great.
Thanks
