I am hoping someone out there (esp a salesforce.com product person
might be able to answer this. We are looking at extending our user numbers by buying unlimited platform user licences. We mainly have custom objects, so doesn't make sense to pay for the SFA/SSS.
We have CTI at the moment - I know this is an SSS extension, but it mainly relies on API access between sfdc and a 3rd party connector. Does anyone know, if we purchase platform users as opposed to full unlimited users, can we still make use of CTI? To me it doesn't make sense that we can't, since CTI for us is a 3rd party connector that sits on an agent's desktop, and makes API calls to/from SFDC.
Thanks,
Stephen
