Hi All,
We would like to insert about a thousand Contacts through dataloader, also these Contacts should also be Customer Portal Users.
Is there a way, we can enable these Contacts as Customer Portal Users while inserting Contacts through Dataloader?
If not, is the only way to enable these Contacts as Customer Portal Users, is to manually enable them from Contact Page?
Thank You all in advance.

Sorry but I am fairly certain this is not possible. Unfortunately there is no value "Customer Portal User" so therefore there is no TRUE association on which to build into the insert.
It is very frustrating I know. The non-exposure of such a value (Customer Portal User = True/False) has stumped many of us that use the Portals for our Customers.
It is a plain and manual initiate every one of that hundred.
