Google Chrome incompatible with Email Tempalting and Sending

I started using Google Chrome a while ago and was very pleased with the responsiveness of Salesforce in Chrome. But, in the last days I can no longer create an email or modify an Email Template within Chrome. I get an error: To use the HTML Email & dynamic click-through tracking feature you must upgrade to Internet Explorer (IE) version 6.0 or higher.

Strange when the relationship between SF and Google is so strong.

Is anyone working on this at Salesforce or Google?

Re: Google Chrome incompatible with Email Tempalting and Sending

I'm with you on this! I was really happy with how well SF was performing in Chrome, until I realized that all the emails I was sending out of SF for the past 2 weeks were being sent in plain text form. Needless to say, my fancy HTML signature wasn't looking too hot. The "Email Format" option at the top of the Send An Email screen, just doesn't appear.

I really hope they're addressing this somehow.

If you like the speed of Chrome and want to use something that's officially supported, may I recommend Safari? There's a Windows version and it's very fast, too.

Personally, I'm willing to wait the extra second to use all of the great plugins that Firefox has to offer.

Thanks, that's a good suggestion.
