Campaign field Autopopulated with new Opportunity record

Every time a new Opportunity record is created using the "create new" button on the contact layout the Primary Campaign Source of the new record has the Primary Campaign Source field automatically filled in.

 

This is a standard button I believe.

 

Is there any way to disable this feature?

Am looking for a solution for that myself.

 

Hopefully someone can enlighten us.
