Using Mail Merge in Partner Portal

Has anyone here ever tried using Mail Merge in a partner portal? I can see the mail merge button on my partner page layout, but when logging on to the partner portal as a parter, this button is not visible.

 

...I guess it's just not possible at the moment...could someone confirm?
