Partner Users sending tasks to internal SF users

I would like to have the option that my partner user can send a task to any user in our org.  We have a technical department and I would like my partner user to be able to send tasks and events to my technical group when they need something done.  Currently the only person I can send a task to is the owner of the account.  I am new to the PRM.  Does anyone have a suggestion for me?
