Hi Rarf,
Yes, with the new partner portal there is. When you enable an account as partner and add a user with a "Strategic Partner" license, three (hierarchical) roles get created automatically: Executive, Manager & User - allowing you to use a three level hierarchy for your partner users. An executive will see all leads & oppt's, a manager only for his team and a user for all.
You can also decide to setup sharing rules for specific partners. If a specific partner wants to share all his opportunities internally for example you can do this by creating a sharing rule for them.
