What's next? How to upgrade from 401 to 501?

I dont have a programming background, but I am getting a lot of requirements which require some SOQL or apex coding. So where to start to learn some basic SOQL and apex?

you have to register for 501 seperately but only after completing the 401 successfully

Mind you, the success rate in 501 is very low as compared to 401. So, study hard and prepare well!
