Is there any way to increase the number of VF pages or Apex classes displayed through the setup menu? The default seems to be 10, and even though I can use the More link to see more VF pages, the next time when I come back to the screen it once again is only showing 10.
I would like to know if there is a way for the system to show like 100 VF pages by default.

I think you should create a view for this purpose.
Just follow these steps. It migh help you.
Go to Setup -> App Setup -> Develop -> Apex Classes you will see "View" at the top of class list.
Click link "Create New View" just next to "View".
Step 1. Provide the view name for e.g. "All Classes"
Step 2. Select Field as "Name", operator as "not equal to" and value as "Null"
then save it.
