Hi,
When one of my users tries to edit the address fields on a Contact (owned by a different account owner), she gets an error message saying "You are not allowed to update address fields as you are not part of the Account team." There is no account team for this contact's account and the User has a Modify All and View All permission on the Accounts and Contacts obejcts. Meanwhile she also has full acces to this contact and assosiated account record through a sharing rule. Any idea why she is not able to update the address fields?
Thank you,
Mayur

Have you checked if there is a Trigger on the Contact object to generate this error?
Or you may have a Validation Rule on this field to stop the update and generate this error.
