Salesforce to Salesforce: Connect two developer edition orgs

Hey folks!

Is it possible to connect two dev orgs via Salesforce to Salesforce? I get the following error so far: "Partner org is not active and no API calls are allowed"

Hi,

First of all make sure that your org having API enable, and your both org is having salesforce to salesforce enable.

I created two dev orgs via the partner portal. The S2S connection worked. Normal dev orgs didn't work for me.
