How track HTML status of outboudemail through workflows

I am trying to find a way to track an html status of an email.All of my outboud email is going from workflow email alerts .Is there any way that i can keep track of emails opened by customer  and count .

Have you tried an "HTML Email Status" Report from a Custom Activities Report?

Yeah but it doest work for emails send from workflows using custom objects

Did you ever figure this out? I am also trying to track html status of workflow emails and can't see any way to get this info.
