Email Marketing

I want to customize  system wherein emails are send to all our current and prospest customers about our new products and track their responses . 

Being new to this Salesforce , need some guidelines .

You can look for Campaigns.

In campaigns you can create record and add members to the campaign. Once they respond back you can use track how many of them responded and other information as well. Please search for Campaign and there are a lot of stuff in there...
