Menu not displaying in Force IDE

I'm using windows 7 (SP1)

Java 6 u 27

and Force IDE 25.0

 

when I run the program, the menu displayed is the one shown in this picture:

with several options within the menu missing. Any idea why this could be happening?

well, I couldn't solve the issue by following the steps of differents post here but what did solve it was downloading this link:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/76nkolv9i91r/n/eclipse.zip

Which has a fully compiled eclipse with Force IDE.

I can't find now the post that had the link, but thumbs up for it.
