Hi Guys,
I was wondering in there is a limit to the number of custom fields that can be mapped to Outlook or if creating a custom outlook form could affect any of the syncing of contacts??
Regards,
J

Hi,
Creating a custom form inside the outlook will not help you because Sales force always uses the Standard outlook form for Syncing Contacts. Your custom form work only if you have created new contacts inside the outlook by using your custom form and want to create the same contact inside the Sales force it will work perfectly. But when you have created any contacts inside the sales force and want to create the same in Outlook it will always take the default outlook form instead of your custom outlook form.
One thing you can do is that instead of creating new custom form created fields that you want to display on standard outlook form and then try to Sync. I have no idea about the exact number of fields for sync using SFO but I have tested this for Approx 45 fields including standard and custom.
Did this answer your question? If not, let me know what didn't work, or if so, please mark it solved.
