Hello everyone,
I'm facing a problem with Dashboards and Reports: We are providing some Reports in public folders for everyone to use. Some users added these reports to Dashboards in their "My Personal Dashboards" folder. Now we want to delete some of the public reports (because they are outdated). Unfortunatley I receive the message "Report cannot be deleted - One or more dashboards depend on this report. Please delete the dashboard components referring to this report and try again.".
I already removed the reports from all public dashboards. However it seems that they are still used in the personal dashboard of a (inactive) user.
Unfortunatley I can't report on the "My Personal Dashboards" folders (utilizing a Reports & Dashboards Report).
How can I find out, which User-Dashboard is using this Report?
How can I avoid such problems in the future?
Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: I found at least a way how to report on public folders: You have to create a custom report type: "Reports (A) with at least one related record from Dashboard Components (B)". If you now Include "Title: Dashboard", you can jump diretly into the dashboard (even the ones in private folders).
