This has to be simple but I can't find it anywhere. I want to be able to take a field on one page (Like "Division" in the Users tab) and link it over to another tab or list (Like Quotes). So when a rep pulls up the quotes screen, he can see his own division associated with the quote (read only).
This is already done, for instance, when you create an quote in the Quotes Related List, the account name and opportunity name are pulled over, and locked, automatically. The sales rep doesn't have to refill them in.
Seems so simple. But I can't figure it out.
Thanks in advance.
Brian
