Prospect Management

I am hoping to better organize prospects for dogged pursuit. I envision an electronic white board with a list of names that I can easily access in order to ensure that I remember a particular group of hopeful clients.

I have a large territory and its hard to use the event function to adequately manage the prospects. How do I add visibility to a "hot list" of folks I really want as customers?

One way to do this would be to use the tagging feature that's included with Salesforce.com
