Outbound Call Center Tools

I'm looking for some best practices/integrations with salesforce.com for my outbound call center. They are charged with making more than 6000 calls a month. We use Log a Call and build individual call reports depending on the audience. We have a custom wizard, but I would like to automate more of their process and find ways to better equip them to make more calls. Any advice, tools, or best practices are welcomed. Thanks!

Certainly, depending on your phone system, you may be able to set up a telephony integration.

 

Another interesting thing to look into would be Model Metrics PerfectCall.

Which Phone system are you currrently using? Some offer an SF intergration which will allow users to "click" to dial and starts the call logging process.
