Out of date opportunities

I know that you can use Opportunity fields in the body/subject of the email, but what about the task

Yes for the email template, as Jakester stated. Use any merge field from the record you'd like.

Unfortunately, no for the task - you can only type text in the subject line.

The task is more of a general reminder anyhow - the email is where you get to the heart of the matter.

Can you explain me better how does it work? When is sent the email? Is it sent every day or only once?
