Leads vs Accounts

Once a Lead is converted to an Account and a Contact, we need to remove all of the leads with that Account name from the Lead queues.  I am surprised to find that there is not native funcitonality that deals with this.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about this?

Trigger is the best way to deal with it.
