Hi all.
Our managers wish to have a view of Activities assigned to Users in Departments other than their own.
Ideally I would define a Custom Report on Activities with a criteria such as 'Assigned Department equals Marketing'. Unfortunately however this is not possible as the field is not available anywhere within the Reports wizard. The only User fields visible are (also see attached):
Assigned
Assigned Alias
Assigned Role
Assigned Role Display
Does anyone have any suggestions on how this might be achieved please?
Many thanks in advance
Mr S

You may need to add a custom field to your Activities records that represents Assigned department. Also, depending on the Role hierarchy there still may be issues with your managers not be able to see the data they want. Generally I believe they would need to be at the same level as each other and above the users.
