How Important Is It That Our SFDC Consultant Be An Oracle ERP Expert?

 

We're a Global Company, looking to deploy SFDC. We're interviewing Consultants to guide the implementation.

 

We've interviewed Candidates to PM this project and seem to be getting mixed info ...

 

We are running Oracle EB Suite ... and need multiple integration points.

 

  1. How significant is it that our PM Consultant be an Oracle ERP expert?
  2. Is general ERP expertise good enough?
  3. Is it more important that our Consultant be a SFDC expert, or is it critical that they be an expert at Oracle ERP and SFDC?
  4. What questions should we ask? And what are the answers to these questions?
