I am considering a switch to Salesforce for my sales team to better integrate with my operations team who has been on Salesforce for almost 6 months. The Sales team has previously been using sites like LeadMailbox (very basic) and Leads360. In both systems, they had a feature to allow lead providers to send leads directly to the CRM which were then auto-uploaded into the system. I believe that Leads360 did an HTTP post and Leadmailbox had a way to map the body of a plain text email. In Salesforce, all I can seem to find is the Web to lead function which will work well with my websites, but not for the use of leads from 3rd party providers. Is there any way to work around this issue? Surely someone out there has found a way to do this in salesforce but I can't seem to find suggesstion anywhere. Please help, thanks!

Hi,
you can code an API-call from whatever System you choose.
Also you could set up an email-handler in Salesforce that receives emails and then creates a lead our of them.
If you can not do this yourself a lot of certified Salesforce Partners are out there to help you.
Best,
Hannes
