E-Mail-To-Salesforce on CustomObjects?

Hi,

I have set up a small application with some custom objects. There is an applicant-object which contains the mail-address of the applicant and many more information.

Now I would like to sort the incoming mails from E-Mail-To-Salesforce into the activity stream of the applicant. In the setup of E-Mail-To-Salesforce I have only the options for Opportunity, Leads and Contacts.

Is there a way to expand this feature of Salesforce to my custom object?
