Creating Mail Merge Templates

Anyone have a listing of the "proper" Salesforce.com mailmerge fields? I have read the help section on this subject three times and I still am not able to get there. Thanks.

Re: Creating Mail Merge Templates

Have you tried using the office connect tool with MS Word? Once you login, you should be able to pick from the list of fields you have in SF.

Re: Creating Mail Merge Templates

Got it.

It ended up being fairly simple. In the case of Outlook (another Office program), I had to go into Outlook, select Tools, then Salesforce Options. In the General tab, you have to paste your Salesforce Security Token onto the end of your Password in this screen. The token was sent originally by Salesforce by email when I first logged in from my PC. Once that's entered, click "Verify" and you should be ok.

Thanks.

Re: Creating Mail Merge Templates

Hi Aabrego,

In case you have not found it yet -

Go to Setup.

On the left side, under Personal Setup, go to Desktop Integration and choose Connect for Office.

Good Luck,

Eric

Anyone have a suggestion for those of us on Mac?  I'm finding it problematic to get the proper fields, etc.
