Automatic screen workflow for Opportunity Products

At this moment we don’t use Opportunity Products, but just a Multi Picklist in the Opportunity Detail section where the products are required (because this field is required, products are always filled in right away). Because the multi picklist doesn’t give enough information, we want to implement Opportunity products.

 

We would like to implement the Opportunity Products functionality but we have the following issue. Because Opportunity Products is a related list, you first have to save a new opportunity. Then when you have saved the opportunity, you manually have to go to the related list and click the Add products button to add products. This is not an automatic screen flow.

 

In our situation we want to fill in the Opportunity products directly following from making a new SSO. It would be very User Friendly If the Opportunity product screen would automatically be opened and is required when a new opportunity is saved (automatic screen flow). Does someone has a clue if this is possible?

You can do this in your settings by selecting 

 

 

 

 

 

Setup>

AppSetup>

Customize>

Opportunities>Settings 

 

[ X ] Prompt users to add products to opportunities
