Does APEX support WS-Security for callouts (calling external or 3rd party web services) yet?

In my opinion, this can be done by using apex services callout. You can visit the links given below for information :

Web services callouts has no mention of supporting WS-Security and there is no mention of classes in APEX supporting WS-Security.

I'm assuming this is a NO since i also found an idea for support added here
